Event description fake[dac~] is a post-club format and re configuring of club aesthetic with modern tools and art forms. Featuring audio visual artists working with different methodologies, VJ’s, DJ’s and live coders. Expect a dance able and familiar night club experience with amazing audio visuals throughout. fake[dac~] also includes and innovative installation room and playground for new and novel event concepts. This time round room two will feature non-repeating dance music and glitchy visuals generated using A.

Event description Room 1: fake[dac~] is an event dedicated to audio visual art, VJ’ing and visuals, live coding and algorave. The differentiator between this event and others is that its highly curated by m-onz and luis sanz (the co-founders) based on a paticular aesthetic and high standards. We put the “rave” into algorave. Only the best visuals, cutting edge sounds, live coding, AV & installations pushing the envelope. fake[dac~] is fast paced and curated to create a club experience that is familiar but also has one foot in the future.

Event description fake[dac~] is futuristic event with a cyber punk theme originally named after the digital to analog converter object within pure data so its pronounced: “fakedack”. fake[dac~] events showcase audio visual performers, visual artists VJ’s, live coders from the algorave movement and fully immersive installations. There has been a focus on algorithmic or procedurally generated content using real time software or commercial tools but fake[dac~] remains agnostic to technology.

Event description fakedac~ is a perpetual event dedicated to audio visuals (AV) & live coding / patching.fakedac~ acts as a catalyst for artists and engineers to collaborate on new algorithmic art forms. This fourth installment of fakedac~ at the highly respected Corsica Studios has two rooms of audio visual artists , VJs, DJs, modular synth operators, audio reactive LED installations and live coders from the algorave scene. These artists are performing a range of multi-genre dance floor oriented sets using algorithmic computer generated audio and visuals.

The next installment of fakedac~ will be in ninth life’s upstairs function room with lovely sound and projected visuals. There is a balcony smoking area overlooking Catford. This event is not to be missed!
